Mr Archer, Mr Noddings and Mr Dhillon delivering instruction in patterns, technical kicking and sparring. Although this video clip involves defence with a gun it has some very important lessons and is relevant for a non-weapon threat environments:

Well done to all the ladies who completed the latest Women's only self-defence class last night. Just think where you are today from where you were on day one, excellent group, I enjoyed working with you!
Also a big thank you to the Warwick-TKD men that turned up last night to assist and make the drills more realistic and a 'real life' experience for the ladies, great team effort.

As martial arts instructors we think that its all about feeling more confident and learning to defend yourself, but this in many instances is not the case or is not the whole picture. It fills me with confidence in the club and instructors that we are also delivering enjoyable classes that assist with fitness and provide a social element, a sense of belonging and a team spirit with many family groups in the clubs.
