This weekend our Instructor team attended the International Instructor Course in Dublin, Ireland held over 3 days and delivered by the ITF TKD Technical committee Grand Master Morano, Grand Master Lan and Master Jedut.

Attending the course from 11 different countries were nearly 300 black belts, including more than 30 Masters and 7 Grandmasters, doing what we all love. T-UK had 17 instructors at the event, 5 of those from WLTKD.

It was excellent to be at an IIC again catching up with and training with old friends after so many restrictions in the last couple of years.

It was a physically taxing 3 days as well as massively educational being able to learn from the people who were next to the founder of TKD, General Choi Hong Hee, during the early days of TKD growth and development and having the opportunity to discuss technical delivery and application with these people.

Well done WLTKD Instructors for making the time and investment in their personal development which in turn has a massive positive effect on our club and our student development and ultimate student quality.

Also a huge congratulations to Master james Miley on his promotion to 7th degree black belt at the IIC.
