A quality martial arts club such as ourselves which teaches you the skill sets to help keep you safe, build self confidence, learn conflict resolution, practice effective self-defence skills, can be the difference between being a victim of violent crime or not. If you are unfortunate enough to be a victim, the right art with the right skills will enable you to deal with the situation more effectively. Not all martial arts clubs will or can enable the necessary skills in this area, some are ineffective as an art, some instructors aren't qualified to be able to impart the necessary effective skills. These arts and instructors will be giving their students false confidence which is immensely dangerous! Our clubs do not come under this banner.
When looking to join a martial arts school do your due diligence on the art itself and also on the instructors that will be teaching you. Come and train for free for your first session and try one of our clubs, talk to our existing members, call Martin on 07894 002979.
